This oak, planted by Abel Labat and painted by his great-granddaughter and painter, Marie Vignau, represents the persistence of his heritage and the long time needed to create the finest Armagnacs.

Although he didn't leave us his Armagnacs, which went up in flames in a fire, Abel left us his passion for Armagnac and his forests, witnesses to his commitment and deep-rootedness.
